Our Leslie, aka Leslie Budewitz, is off to Malice Domestic, the annual convention celebrating the traditional mystery,  where her Death al Dente is nominated for the Agatha Award for Best First Mystery. Good luck, Leslie! Here’s her post about the fun — and the other nominees!

Girl in Empty DressLise McClendon, our Billings cohort, is excited to be headed back to France, in book form at least, with her new women’s suspense novel, The Girl in the Empty Dress. The book is the sequel to 2009’s Blackbird Fly, and features five sisters, all lawyers, on a walking tour in the Dordogne. When one of their party finds an injured dog by the road their sunny summer vacation turns dark and dangerous. Truffles, wine, romance, and intrigue! Available in paperback, Kindle, Nook, and other e-formats on May 2.

Lise has started a new venture, France Sisterhood, celebrating the new book and all things French. Check it out on Facebook as well.

Celebrate spring with a good book!
